Malin Raman Delin / Co-founder, BonApp

Malin Raman Delin is a Swedish foodie passionate about sustainability, and a financial services professional turned food tech entrepreneur. In 2017, Delin co-founded BonApp, a fast-growing social enterprise which helps reduce café and restaurant food waste in the UAE. BonApp, a mobile app, enables retailers to minimise their food waste by selling potential surplus food at a discount rather than throwing it away. Simultaneously, BonApp gives customers the chance to buy high-quality take away food at an attractive price. At BonApp, Delin oversees business development, investor relations and sales. Before founding BonApp, she was in the financial services industry in Dubai with Moody’s and Standard and Poor’s. Prior to moving to Dubai, Delin advised Swedish members of the European Parliament in Brussels on financial services matters and also spent time with Volvo Cars as a financial controller. She has a Master’s degree in Economics from the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg in Sweden.
